For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Amazing Restored Mid 1930s Sheaffer White Dot Senior Jade Flat Top Fountain Pen. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned and put back together and now is in wonderful writing condition.

I have ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, and section. Replaced the old rubber sac with a new silicone sac to help preserve the coloring of this Jade. Hand polished the Gold Filled Sheaffer Clip, Cap Banding, and 14K Gold Lifetime NIB. I also cleaned, buffed, polished, and waxed the barrel and cap to bring back the vibrancy and to protect the celluloid of the fountain pen. The color of this Jade is with gorgeous, vibrant color - no discoloration.

This fountain pen cap and barrel are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap has the Sheaffer Gold Filled Clip that displays bright gold filled trim - there is some of the slightest wear to the highpoint of the ball on the clip. The Cap Banding is in excellent condition with no wear of the gold-filled plating. The Gold Filled Lever is in perfect condition with no wear of the gold-filled material. The barrel is clearly stamped with, "W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. FORT MADISON, IOWA U.S.A. MADE IN U.S.A.". Collector Alert: This pen is in remarkable condition with the Jade color displaying so vibrantly. There are no monograms or personalizations on the cap or barrel. This Sheaffer Senior Flat Top Fountain Pen measures 5 1/4" in length capped and 6 5/8" posted.

I have tested the lever filling mechanism with water and fills as it should. The filling system is working as it should.

This Sheaffer has a 14K Lifetime Nib. The actual iridium tip on this Sheaffer Nib has a fine point measuring roughly .55mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample with this NIB, it writes with a fine to a medium/broad line. In the writing sample provided, the fine line measures at .57mm and will flex to a medium/broad stroke measuring .89mm with medium to firm pressure when I measured with digital calipers. The Nib creates a smooth writing experience for such a rigid point. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was performed by dipping the Nib in Parker Quink Blue Ink.

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.

This is a fabulous vintage Senior Sheaffer Flat Top Fountain Pen in the Jade Celluloid that would grade in excellent to near mint condition. Certainly, this writing instrument is collector grade! It is ready to write with or just add to writing arsenal collection.
