For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Scarce Circa 1928 White-dot Sheaffer Jade Flat Top Fountain Pen Porthole Demonstrator. The Sheaffer Demonstrator is in Near Mint to Mint Condition - a fabulous example is presented in this listing. 

I have hand polished the Gold-Filled Sheaffer Clip, Cap Banding, and lever arm. I have cleaned and polished the barrel and cap to bring back the vibrancy and to protect the celluloid of the fountain pen. The color of this Jade is with gorgeous, vibrant color.

This fountain pen cap and barrel are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap has the Sheaffer Gold Filled Clip that displays no wear. The Cap Banding is in perfect condition with no wear of the gold-filled material. The Gold-Filled Lever is in perfect condition with no wear of the gold-filled material. The barrel is clearly stamped with, "W.A. SHEAFFER PEN CO. PAT. AUG 25,08. FORT MADISON, IOWA U.S.A. DEC.10,12-JAN.27-OCT.20-NOV.24,14". 

Collector Alert: This demonstrator pen is in remarkable condition with the Jade color displaying so vibrantly. There are no monograms or personalizations on the cap or barrel. This Jade Flat Top Fountain Pen is a standard size and measures 5 1/4 in length capped and 6 3/8" posted.

These Sheaffer Porthole Demonstrator Fountain Pens never came with a nib, but one could add one. The portholes are factory and show the inside of the cap along with the filling of the sac and pressure bar. This fountain pen does not have a sac in it but one can easily be added. 

This is a gorgeous circa 1928 Sheaffer Flat Top Demonstrator Fountain Pen in the Jade Celluloid that would grade in Near Mint to Mint condition, it is just a gorgeous example by Sheaffer. These are extremely difficult to acquire as there are not many in existence. Certainly, this writing instrument is collector grade and is a special vintage Sheaffer demonstrator to add to your writing arsenal collection.
